Dr. Nicholas Poulos

Dr. Nicholas Poulos was born in Chicago, but moved to Colorado as a baby and considers himself a "Colorado Native". He graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with honors and a double degree in Neuroscience and Psychology. He chose to stay in Colorado, attending the University of Colorado Dental School, where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Nick earned his postgraduate certificate in periodontics and implantology as well as a Master's Degree in Oral Biology from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.

 


Dr. Nick is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and Denver Dental Forum. He has served as past president of Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity, presented to other dentists and periodontists at national meetings for a number of dental associations, and has been published in some of the industry's leading professional journals.

In addition to serving in organized dentistry, he has lectured on dental implants, 3D-guided surgery, intra-oral plastic surgery, and periodontal therapy. Dr. Nick brings the latest "cutting edge" technology with him as he joins the practice of Poulos & Somers.

He currently lives in Denver with his wife, Nicole and chocolate labrador, Zoe. Dr. Nick is an avid Denver sports fan, and enjoys cheering on the Broncos, Buffs, Avs, Nuggets, and Rockies. His other hobbies include skiing, golf, watching movies, and cooking gourmet meals for friends and family.
